Litchfield National Park Waterfalls Day Tour

Boarding early for the drive to Litchfield National Park down ‘the Track’ (Stuart Highway), you’ll be entertained by your Driver Guide with tales both tall and true of the history of Australia’s longest highway.
Litchfield National
Park contains several types of typical Top End habitats including lush
monsoon forests, termite mounds, unusual rock formations, waterfalls and
cascades. The park encloses much of the spectacular Tabletop Range, which is
a wide sandstone plateau mostly surrounded by cliffs. During the green
season four major waterfalls thunder from the cliffs to tropical rock pools
many metres below. During the dry season, the waterfalls flow more gently,
making the waterholes the perfect spot for a cool dip. The Park’s
traditional owners are the Wagait Aboriginal people, many of whom live in
the area.
We follow the Stuart Highway via the township of Batchelor to Litchfield
National Park where we will visit the main falls. First stop is Florence
Falls, where you have the opportunity for a scenic and interpretive bush and
monsoon vine forest walk. There is also the chance for a swim by making your
way down the stairs to the plunge pool below. Travel on to Tolmer Falls for
a magnificent view of the water cascading down to the deep waterhole at the
base of the falls. Finally we visit Wangi Falls, with its large crystal
clear pool, another relaxing spot for a swim. On the way back to Darwin we
make a stop in at Howard Spring Nature Park, where you will have the chance
to feed the Barramundi & Turtles. A great day for taking many fascinating
photos, including the amazing stand of termite mounds. Lunch is included
today.

＊Batchelor 巴契勒小鎮
The gorgeous town of Batchelor is the gateway to Litchfield National Park. Up until WWII, Batchelor was a sleepy little hollow. Then it became an allied air force base and the population grew quickly. When uranium was discovered near Batchelor in 1949, the town once again grew until the mine was closed in 1963. Today, Batchelor’s townsfolk love to host visitors to Litchfield National Park and it’s here that you’ll enjoy morning tea (own expense) at one of their local cafés.
＊Litchfield National Park 李治菲特國家公園
Established in 1986, Litchfield National Park is a truly stunning destination. Here you can take in the splendour of thundering falls, rainforest pockets and sacred historic sites. The traditional custodians of Litchfield National Park are the Wagait people, many of whom still call the area home.
＊Termite Mounds 白蟻丘
The termite mounds found at Litchfield National Park are the incredible architectural works of local termites. Complete with arches, tunnels, chimneys and nursery chambers, the mounds will leave you mystified. Listen and learn as your Driver Guide explains the difference between Cathedral and Magnetic mounds.
＊Florence Falls 弗洛倫斯瀑布
View the spectacular double waterfalls of Florence Falls from a high vantage point before making your way down the stairs to take a dip in the gorgeous plunge pool, if you need to cool down a little. Head back up through forest and open woodland. There’s also time for an interpretive walk through the scenic bush and monsoon vine forest.
＊Tolmer Falls 托兒莫瀑布
One of the three major waterfalls along the western face of the Tabletop Range, Tolmer Falls is a truly spectacular sight. You’ll marvel at the water cascading down into the deep waterhole at the base of the falls, which is home to several colonies of rare ghost bats and orange horseshoe bats.

＊Wangi Falls 萬吉瀑布
Ready for another swim? Wangi Falls is the most accessible of rock pools and is a perfect spot to take another dip.

On the way back to Darwin we make a stop in at Howard Spring Nature Park, where you will have the chance to feed the Barramundi & Turtles.

01) 1至4人若用5人以上價格(E5+)購買，需符合提前至少10天以上預訂、至少有三個行程代碼添加到同一次購物車中，並完成付款。
三個或以上不同旅程代碼：指每個獨立行程的代碼，若在此行程下有分項目(如餐飲/接送/假期附加/自費項目等)，分代碼不視爲獨立代碼。
5人以上之定義：小童可計入總人數，如3成人+2小童同時參團亦算5人以上，其中3成人可以按(E5+)價格購買。
02) 老客戶定義：至少在3個月前(以我們數據庫爲准)參加過我們的行程。

03) 大多數酒店有接送，若小型酒店或門口不易停車之住宿，組團社會安排您前往附近酒店等車。
04) 若行程中有自費景點門票，可以選擇參加或不參加，但門票建議由導遊統一購買，若自備門票，時間上配合不了團隊，損失自理。
05) 查位或留位所需支付訂金Tour deposit 為澳幣AUD5/每人。如果收到我們電郵+短信SMS通知有位及留位成功後，需在2天內(旺季需24小時內)支付餘款，否則訂金不予退還。如果收到我們電郵或SMS短信通知-團位已售罄，公司財務會在3個工作日內將所交訂金全額退還，或征求您的意見後可優惠價用於改換其它行程之費用。
06) 大多數酒店有接送，若小型酒店或門口不易停車之住宿，組團社會安排您前往附近酒店等車。
07) 申請中文iPod翻譯器，必須攜帶其中一人的護照或本人信用卡或現金澳幣700/每台做抵押，使用免費，若損壞需賠償。如果當日由於中文參加人員眾多，在iPod翻譯器不夠的情況下，將2-3人Share(共用)一部。
08) 旅遊車型以參團人數決定，常規旅遊車為37至48座旅遊巴士不等。指定外餐飲自理(可自帶食品、飲料等或沿途購買)。
09) 旅行日建議攜帶－適合步行的鞋/墨鏡/帽子/防曬霜/至少1升的水瓶/照相機/泳衣及浴巾/冬季請帶保暖衣服。
10) 上車憑證需打印出來交導遊司機，本行程暫不接受出示智能手機上的文檔。
