We commence our
tour on the magnificent Sydney Harbour, departing Cockle Bay Marina, Darling
Harbour, Harbour Master Steps at Circular Quay and Manly East Pier. Gaze at
our amazing city and marvel at its beauty as we exit out of the heads and
within a short time we are out into the open ocean into whale watching
country. Revel in the excitement of the first whale sighting as we spot our
first pod on their annual migration. The first sign that whales are around
is usually the blow. A humpback breathes through the blow hole on top of its
head. When it expels its breath, the resulting burst of air and water vapour
can be seen for as far away as two kilometres on a clear day.
Our experienced staff has over 15 years of whale watching
experience and will give you an informative commentary of whale behaviour
and are dedicated to providing you with a close encounter with these gentle
giants of the sea. There is complimentary tea and coffee on board and as we
return back from our cruise we point out the highlights of Sydney and all it
has to offer.
Our vessels are purpose built for whale watching offering two level decks. With a 360 degree lower viewing deck to be as close to the whales as possible. Modern twin hulled cruise vessel. She was specifically designed and purpose built for dolphin and whale watching by Phil Curran one of Australia’s most respected naval architects. Her design features ensure passengers get the best possible viewing in absolute comfort. Max passenger numbers limited to 75 to provide uncrowded cruising.

Terms and conditions: Under any special circumstances, our company reserves the right to cancel the tour prior to or after the date of departure and the right to adjust/change the schedule of the tour. Travel insurance is NOT included. We strongly recommend that passengers have their own travel insurance against illness, injury, loss/damage to personal belongings and not being able to travel on the confirmed departure date. Full fare is required for booking. Cancellation fee: 25% of fare if you cancel 10 days prior to departure. 50% of fare if you cancel 4 to 9 days prior to departure. No refund if you cancel less than three days departure. Amendment fee: There are 10% amendment fee for change departure date in 20 days advance, 20% amendment fee in 7 days advance. No change permitted within 7 days of departure. What types of whales will I see? 觀鯨之旅會觀看到哪些種類的鯨魚
90% of the whales seen in past seasons have been Humpback whales (Megaptera novaeangliae). The next most common are the Southern Right whales ( Eubalaena australis). Others much harder to find are Minki, Sperm and Blue whales (normally only seen once a season) 根據之前的統計，90%的機會看到的是座頭鯨。然後常見的有南露脊鯨，比較難看到的有小須鯨，抹香鯨和藍鯨(通常一個季度只出現一次)。

Only if we are very lucky and then only on 2 or 3 trips of the year. Each whale swims past the Sydney coast over a 6 hour period, so they may pass us in the night time when no one is watching. No, Everyone, and that includes recreational boater follow the same regulations, 100m from the whales is as close as the rules allow any boat to approach. If someone is promising to get closer than this they will be breaking the law. But whales are curious in the boats sometimes and have a close look. In that case we have to stop our engines and let the whales pass. What is the Whale Guarantee? 什麽是觀鯨保證
The whale guarantee allows each person with a valid ticket (excludes Free of Charge passengers) on a cruise that does not see whales to return on another cruise in the same year with a return voucher. What's the definition of seeing whales? 觀看到鯨魚的定義是什麽
By seeing whales we mean that we find and approach at least one whale and we have at least 2 confirmed sightings on the surface at a reasonable distance. Can I get a refund instead of a return voucher? 可以放棄免費搭乘券而要求退款嗎
No, we understand some people can't come back if they are travelling or for other reasons, but each time we go out on a cruise to find whales we do our upmost to find them for you. 不可以，我們很明白一些旅客由於某些原因而不能參加第二次觀鯨之旅，但是我們每次出海都會竭盡全力為您尋找鯨魚的蹤跡，滿足您觀鯨的樂趣。
Can I use my return voucher next year? 免費搭乘券可以留待下一個觀鯨季節使用嗎
No, the voucher is valid only for the year it is issued in. Towards the very end of the season we do allow you to use your return voucher next season.
